Dear Gardiner Families,
For the past several years, Gardiner School and the Electric Peak Arts Council have proudly hosted the Missoula Children’s Theatre residency — a week-long theater experience that brings professional directors, sets, costumes, and performances to our students. It has been a highlight of the school year for many children and families.
To help ensure this program continues, we are seeking a small team of volunteers (1–3 people) to serve as the presenter for Missoula Children’s Theatre at Gardiner School, for this year and/or for future years.
The presenter team acts as the main organizer and point of contact for the residency. Responsibilities include:
coordinating dates and logistics with Missoula Children’s Theatre
securing local housing for the two visiting directors
organizing parent helpers for supervision during rehearsals and performances
reserving rehearsal and performance spaces
sharing audition and performance information with families and the community
You would not be taking this on alone. I will remain involved to help guide the process. Gardiner School and the Electric Peak Arts Council will also continue to support the residency.
