Jeannette Bray - Principal/Superintendent
Greetings!I am happy to be here in Bruin Country as Gardiner’s new Superintendent/Principal. I am not new to the area. My family has lived in the Tom Miner Basin area for several generations. From my Grandma who once served as a long term sub in the elementary school to my extended family who even now are current students, I have a great connection to the school.
A little about me, I have been in education for over 22 years, primarily in Arizona schools. I have served as a teacher for a range of grade levels and subjects for over 10 of those years, and the remaining experience is in curriculum, teacher development, and principal or assistant principal positions. I have multiple degrees, the most recent being a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. I love being a teacher and plan to spend many more years in education.
I have three sons. Twins who are recently out of the military and working in firefighting and mechanics, and a 16 year old who will be enrolling Gardiner as a junior. My husband is retiring from law enforcement in Arizona soon and will be joining us. I spend my free time fishing, hiking, camping and reading, while trying to still find as much time as possible for my family.
I am excited about being here and looking forward to all of Gardiner School’s next adventures.
