Sheri Modderman - Superintendent/Principal
I am so thrilled to become a part of the Gardiner School and community! My family and I moved to Bigfork, Montana in 2011 so I could take a job as a Special Education teacher in a rural K-8 school and I have been working in small schools ever since. I have been a Superintendent/Principal for 4 years and am accustomed to doing what it takes to address the unique challenges that come with that role. My favorite parts of the job are being in the classrooms, interacting with the students, and forming relationships with the staff and families. I believe every student can learn and both the school and the families are integral to a student’s education and success.
My husband and I have been married for 25 years and have 2 children. My daughter is 21 and studying to be a teacher and my son is 20 and is in the Coast Guard. My husband and I love small town life and we are excited to make Gardiner our home.
